Dr Ferencz Baranyay | MBBS FRACGP

Ferencz has been working in Albury since 2014 at the Albury Emergency Department. He has worked as a GP since 2015 and has enjoyed working with some of the founding general practitioners of the region, gaining insight into the profound significance of the speciality to patients and their health care.
Ferencz started his career working at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and completed employment in general medicine, hepatobiliary surgery and emergency medicine during his intern year.
He continued working in various surgical specialities with the doyens of their fields for the following two years, in specialities such as neurosurgery, plastic surgery, cardio-thoracic surgery, urology, as well as further terms in emergency medicine at both Royal Melbourne Hospital and Royal Women’s Hospital.
Ferencz is passionate about managing all aspects of patient care in general practice and brings his past experience in ED into this arena. He is dedicated to caring for the injured worker and about caring for veteran health after service discharge.
He also believes strongly in the delivery of high-level training and advice for junior doctors and the continued promotion of the general practice specialty to the wider community.

Dr Alison Palmer has 30 years of experience in all areas of general practice, and has lived and worked in the Albury-Wodonga region since 1995.
She has a special interest in women’s health (including reproductive health, menopause and pregnancy care), children’s health, care of the elderly, palliative care, and the management of chronic diseases.
Dr Palmer also performs minor skin procedures and insertion of contraceptive implants.
Patients find her to be a compassionate, dedicated and knowledgeable GP who is passionate about delivering the best health care.

Dr Malarvili “Rheena” Krishnan obtained her medical degree from India and owned and operated her private practice in Malaysia for 12 years. She moved to Australia 5 years ago and fortunately chose to settle in Albury with her family.
Rheena enjoys all aspects of general practice and has special interests in women’s health and mental health. Rheena is also fluent in Bahasa (Malaysia) and Tamil.
Rheena enjoys the outdoors, particularly hiking, loves travelling, and is an exceptional cook!

Dr Daniel Frawley | MD FRACGP

Dr Daniel Frawley obtained his medical degree in 2017 from the University of Sydney before completing postgraduate training in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
Having attended to schooling and an undergraduate degree in the Albury/Wodonga region, he has returned to the area to raise a family of his own.
Through his training and experiences, Dr Frawley has developed an interest in all aspects of rural medicine, particularly musculoskeletal and sports medicine.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, and playing football for his local club.

Dr Nick Mason grew up in Melbourne and obtained his medical degree in 2005 from the University of Melbourne. He has worked across regional Victoria, central Australia, and a stint in West Africa before settling with his young family in Corryong to work as a GP there for over 10 years. He is a fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, and obtained his Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He is actively involved in medical student teaching and GP registrar supervision.
Dr Mason enjoys the variety that comes with rural medicine, in particular men's health, aged care, skin cancer medicine, occupational health and palliative care.
Outside of work, Nick is busy with his family of four children and loves the outdoors, in particular camping and fly fishing.

Dr Jonathan Da Silva | MBBS FRACGP Master of Medicine, Sexual Health

Jonathan received his medical degree from the University of Queensland in 2011 and worked in hospitals for several years before arriving in Albury-Wodonga in 2014. Working at AWH (mainly ED, ICU and Oncology) and familiarising himself with the community, he started GP training and graduated (FRACGP) in 2017.
Jonathan’s areas of specialty and passion are Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (including LGBTQIA2+), Veteran Health and Rehabilitation, and Public/Community Health and Education.
He is currently completing a Master of Medicine in Sexual Health (Psychosexual Counselling) as well as a Master of Health Management and Leadership.
From door-to-discharge, Jonathan works to build his patient’s abilities for self-education, self-determination, and self-management; and he strongly believes each person he sees has the capacity to change their lives and improve their health. Working from a trauma-informed and strengths-based perspective, Jonathan feels that education, understanding and having a network of support provides the best outcomes for those struggling with health issues.
